New Horizons has recently had the opportunity to act as the first resource responder for a new inner-city program in Houston. 4Ward Lax is located in the 4th Ward Freedman’s Town Neighborhood in Houston.  This effort is spearheaded by a young couple that are graduates of St John’s School, Houston. Whitney Alsup and Jordan Kreft recently started gathering kids near Gregory-Lincoln Elementary School and found both enthusiastic kids and parents. They have started a go-fund me site here (https://www.gofundme.com/4WardLax).  New Horizons has provided initial resources so that they can capture this enthusiasm as they seek other support.
