This year New Horizons supported six east Austin boys as they played lacrosse for the newly formed Kealing Middle School Hornets. By expanding our support to these neighborhood kids attending Kealing and by adding the Lady Eagles team at Martin Middle School, we have expanded our support to three east Austin schools while more than doubled the number of east Austin students playing regulation lacrosse in our established leagues.

Each year, there are new challenges and surprise rewards. This year, I received six personal notes from the boys at Kealing that we supported. What a wonderful surprise! Thanks to these new Hornets for these thoughtful notes and to Coach Zack Matthews for his Leadership. This is what is it all about.
