During the summer and early fall of 2009, the New Horizons Lacrosse Fund was established in order to provide personal growth, positive life experience, and enrichment for boys and girls through the participation in team sports by supporting the development of lacrosse programs in underserved and disadvantaged communities. New Horizons Lacrosse is a 501 © (3) non-profit organization under the direction of David Hamill and Al Picazo, administered by the Austin Community Foundation.
During the first year of operation the organization experienced both success and challenge. In the coming year we look froward to identifying opportunities and capitalizing on our successes. We would like to thank our supporters for their contributions of time, energy and resources.
